Career Technical Education
At J.F. Ingram State Technical College, students have the opportunity to choose from 19 diverse career technical (CTE) programs. These programs range from Auto Body Repair to Welding, offering a comprehensive education tailored to various industries. Each program provides short-term stackable certificates, which students can combine to achieve a long-term certificate. Notably, most programs include industry certification or credentialing, available at no cost to qualified participants.
Experienced Instructors and Industry Connections
Our career technical instructors bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their classrooms. With strong ties to business and industry, they ensure that course content remains relevant and aligned with emerging trends. Classrooms and labs are thoughtfully designed and equipped to mirror today's workplace, and "live work" projects allow students to refine their skills in practical settings.
Program Locations
Career technical programs are available at multiple locations, including the Main Campus, Draper and Tutwiler Instructional Service Centers, as well as inside Bibb, Donaldson, Easterling, Fountain, Limestone, and Ventress Correctional Facilities.
