The Ingram State Technical College Foundation celebrated the holidays with breakfast for over 1,200 ISTC students at six locations across Alabama on December 13, 2019.
Foundation liaison Dr. Brannon Lentz said the event was the foundation’s largest to date. “Thanks to outstanding work by our volunteers we were able to bring a festive note to the close of the fall academic term,” said Lentz.
Ingram State Technical College president Annette Funderburk said the holiday meal was one of many ways the foundation supports ISTC students. “Events like the holiday meal are a way of recognizing the students’ hard work and perseverance throughout the semester,” said Funderburk. “Traditionally, our students seek out the foundation when they are need of tools or equipment to begin a new job. But for those students waiting to transition events like this are rewarding and enjoyable.”
The Ingram State Technical College Foundation is supported through grants and private donations.
