ISTC - Red Eagle Welcome

Ingram State Welcomes Red Eagle Students at Main Campus

Today President Annette Funderburk welcomed new students for from Red Eagle Community Work Center to their first day of class. This is the first time in history Ingram State will serve Red Eagle residents in career technical programming. Ingram State has offered adult education and select industry certifications at Red Eagle for years, and now will have the ability to couple that with technical programming and give justice-involved students a higher chance for job placement.

Red Eagle is a minimum-custody facility. Individuals are within years of their release date or parole consideration date. Each individual who earns their education before release is more likely to obtain a sustainable career and less likely to return to prison.
